Today was Madison's 6th birthday! I know I might be biased, but she really is a beautiful baby in this picture. (Notice Kirby has all 5 fingers intact then). I can't believe that our youngest child is already 6 years old. Time flies! Madison has brought a lot of excitement to our family. She's not shy at all and has to be in the middle of everything. She's 6 going on 16 and I'm scared to death for the day that she turns 16.

You know I take a bunch of time to photo-shop a picture for my sister-in-law and she doesn't even want it. Oh-well that's what I get for trying to do something nice.

We are officially old! Allie went to her first Homecoming Dance on Oct. 4th with Kyle West who she is really good friends with. Kirby is frustrated because he was trying to seem threatening when Kyle came to pick her up for their date and he said "do I need to go get my gun?" and Kyle said, "yeah I could go for some coyote hunting!" He's already been hanging out at our house too much so he doesn't take Kirby seriously.

A Blast from the Past.....

Stole this idea from my sister-in-law Jamie and will be posting some memories and adventures from our past. This year for Labor Day we spent it in beautiful Pine Valley Playing volleyball, roasting marshmallows, making homemade ice cream, shooting, and being lazy

Nothing beats watermelon at Lake Powell. If you weren't there then your "just too stupid."

The team got to spend Sunday at Uncle Von's house in Washington and they got the royal treatment. They had a barbecue for the whole team and their parents and everybody still talks about how nice of a time they all had there.

Pine Park

We had our Schimbeck Family Reunion at Pine Park in June 2008. We had a lot of fun and even made pottery. Unfortunately, we tried to do a pit fire and lost a lot of the pots.

All-Stars

We've been going to softball games since the first of April and are still going. Jacey's done great this year and they just won the Utah State Championship! Now they go to Vancouver, Washington for the Western Regional Finals. Way to go Jacey!
